Role Overview
Ensure zero defect escapes across our enterprise platforms. We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated testing frameworks across Next.js frontends and Django backend APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated end-to-end regression suites using Playwright or Cypress.
- Develop automated REST API contract tests and integration pipelines using Postman, Newman, and PyTest.
- Perform peak load and stress simulations using k6 or JMeter to identify database locking and latency bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with development teams during sprint planning to ensure complete acceptance criteria testability.
- Produce concise bug reports and root-cause analysis documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in software quality engineering with at least 3 years focused on test automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for writing automated test scripts.
- Demonstrated experience integrating automated test runners into CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of web application security principles (OWASP Top 10).
Preferred & Nice-to-Have
- Experience testing enterprise ERP, hospital management, or FinTech transaction ledgers.
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification.
