Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of our enterprise web platforms, Next.js customer interfaces, and distributed Django REST Framework microservices. You will collaborate directly with our technical director and solutions architects to design resilient database models, real-time event queues, and performant user experiences for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect scalable, maintainable full-stack software using Next.js (App Router), React, and Django REST Framework.
- Design optimized PostgreSQL database schemas, write efficient queries, and prevent N+1 query bottlenecks.
- Build asynchronous background task pipelines using Celery, Redis, and WebSockets for real-time telemetry.
- Conduct thorough pull request code reviews, enforce strict architectural standards, and mentor junior engineers.
- Participate in weekly sprint planning, technical requirement scoping, and client architecture demos.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of production experience building software with Python (Django / DRF) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React / Next.js).
- Deep practical understanding of relational database design, indexing strategies, transactions, and PostgreSQL performance tuning.
- Demonstrated proficiency with containerized workflows using Docker and Docker Compose.
- Experience engineering robust RESTful APIs with automated OpenAPI documentation and unit test coverage.
- Strong problem-solving fundamentals, knowledge of data structures, and clean code principles.
Preferred & Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (ECS, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route53).
- Experience implementing enterprise role-based access control (RBAC) and OAuth2 / JWT authentication.
- Contributions to open-source software or active public GitHub repositories.
